A: The website migration service that we are offering is free of cost (to a certain extent). We will migrate your website(s) to our ultramodern cloud hosting platform without you needing to do anything. We know from experience that switching hosting providers can lead to lost information and unwanted downtime. Because of this, we will do all that for you for free!We have highly accomplished administrators whose primary responsibility is to make sure that your site performs precisely as it did on your former web hosting platform. Our administrators are well–versed in transferring custom–made websites, as well as websites that are based on famous web applications like WordPress and Joomla^™.

A: There are lots of aspects to take into account – the total amount of files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the site itself and the current workload of our website migration experts, etc. That being said, we do try to carry out all website migrations within a 48–hour time window. Smaller–sized websites are migrated much faster – typically within 24 hours.

A: Yup. We’ll require the name of the site that you’d like us to migrate. We will also require a means to access your old web hosting account so that we can get the content associated with your site.

A: Before we can start the migration of your hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to share essentially the same details you have provided to your current host. We also have a very strict Privacy Policy, which describes how private data is tackled.

A: While we transfer your site, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your old hosting provider. After the migration is completed, we’ll make sure that everything is working correctly and that the integrity of your content is not affected before telling you that the transfer is complete. After that, we will explain to you how to move the domain over to your web hosting account with us and how to modify the DNS resource records.

A: Nah. We will never contact your web hosting provider about anything. They won’t be aware of the website migration either.

A: Yes. We support all conventional Linux–driven web hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–based web hosting platforms, because we do not provide Windows hosting solutions ourselves.Furthermore, we don’t support proprietary web site creation and management user interfaces such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
